    LegacyCloud, a service of Hustle Machine LLC

    Effective date: May 25, 2026 · Last updated: May 25, 2026

    1. Introduction

    This Privacy Policy explains how Hustle Machine LLC ("LegacyCloud," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the LegacyCloud website at https://thelegacycloud.com, our mobile or web applications, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

    By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

    2. Who We Are and How to Contact Us

    LegacyCloud is owned and operated by:

    Hustle Machine LLC
    Loganville, GA 30052
    United States

    3. About the Services

    LegacyCloud is a memory-preservation service that lets a registered user (a "Sender") request short audio or video recordings from family members or other invitees (each a "Recipient"). The Sender enters the Recipient's mobile phone number, confirms they have permission to contact that person, and LegacyCloud sends an SMS to the Recipient asking whether they would like to receive a secure link to record a memory. Recordings are stored in the Sender's LegacyCloud account.

    4. Information We Collect

    4.1 Information you provide to us

    • Account information. When you create a LegacyCloud account as a Sender, we collect your name, email address, mobile phone number, password (stored as a hash), and any optional profile information you choose to provide.
    • Recipient contact information. When you, as a Sender, initiate a recording request, you provide the mobile phone number and (optionally) a display name for the Recipient.
    • Recipient responses. When a Recipient replies to a LegacyCloud SMS (for example, "YES," "STOP," or "HELP"), we receive and store that reply along with the originating phone number and a timestamp.
    • Recordings and uploaded content. Audio and video recordings created or uploaded through the Services, along with associated metadata (length, timestamp, file format).
    • Payment information. If LegacyCloud offers paid features, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
    • Communications. Messages you send to support, feedback, and survey responses.

    4.2 Information collected automatically

    • Device and usage information. IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages or screens viewed, and the date and time of access.
    • Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how the Services are used. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Services may not function correctly.
    • Approximate location. We may infer approximate location from IP address.

    4.3 Information from third parties

    We may receive information about you from third-party service providers we use to operate the Services (such as authentication, SMS delivery, payment processing, and analytics providers).

    5. How We Use Information

    We use information to:

    • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
    • Authenticate users and secure accounts;
    • Send SMS messages and other communications required to deliver the Services (see Section 8);
    • Process payments (if applicable);
    • Communicate with you about your account, security alerts, and changes to the Services;
    • Respond to support requests;
    • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service;
    • Comply with legal obligations;
    • With your consent, send you product updates or marketing communications (you may opt out at any time).

    6. How We Share Information

    We do not sell personal information, and we do not share or rent mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

    We share information only as described below:

    • Service providers. We share information with vendors that process data on our behalf, including SMS delivery (SimpleTexting / Rendrfy, Inc.), hosting and storage, analytics, payment processing (if applicable), and customer support tooling. These providers are bound by contract to use information only to provide services to us.
    • Senders and Recipients. A Recipient sees the Sender's name in the SMS sent on the Sender's behalf. A Sender sees the recordings created in response to their request.
    • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.
    • Business transfers. If LegacyCloud or Hustle Machine LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

    7. Recipient Consent and Contact

    When a Sender enters a Recipient's mobile number, the Sender attests that they have the Recipient's permission to be contacted by LegacyCloud. LegacyCloud then sends the Recipient a one-time consent request SMS. We do not send the recording link or any further SMS to a Recipient unless the Recipient first replies "YES." If the Recipient replies "STOP," we add their number to our suppression list and do not send further messages.

    If you are a Recipient and believe you received a LegacyCloud message in error, reply STOP to opt out, or contact support@thelegacycloud.com so we can investigate and, if appropriate, suspend the Sender's ability to use the Services.

    8. SMS / Text Messaging

    LegacyCloud, a service of Hustle Machine LLC, uses SMS (text messaging) to deliver recording requests on behalf of our users.

    How numbers are collected. A LegacyCloud Sender enters the mobile phone number of a family member or other invitee they wish to ask for a recording. The Sender must confirm they have permission from that person before LegacyCloud will send any message.

    Consent. Before sending a recording link, LegacyCloud sends a one-time consent request SMS asking the Recipient to reply YES. No recording link or further messages are sent unless and until the Recipient replies YES.

    Message frequency. Message frequency varies and is driven by user activity. A typical Recipient receives one to two messages per request.

    Carrier rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on the Recipient's mobile carrier and plan.

    Opt-out. Recipients may reply STOP to any LegacyCloud message at any time to unsubscribe. Recipients may reply HELP for support information.

    No sharing for marketing. Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS purposes, and consent to receive SMS messages, are not sold, rented, shared, or otherwise transferred to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are processed solely to deliver the recording requests described above and are retained in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

    Supported carriers. LegacyCloud SMS is supported on major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

    Support. Questions about LegacyCloud SMS can be sent to support@thelegacycloud.com. Full SMS terms are available at https://thelegacycloud.com/sms-terms.

    9. Data Retention

    We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

    • Account information is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.
    • Recordings are retained for as long as the associated Sender account remains active, or until the Sender deletes them, whichever comes first.
    • SMS consent logs (the YES reply, timestamp, and originating number) are retained for at least four years after the most recent message to that number, to demonstrate compliance with applicable telecommunications laws.
    • Opt-out (STOP) records are retained indefinitely so that we continue to honor opt-outs across all future Sender requests.

    10. Security

    We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for stored recordings, access controls, and routine monitoring. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    11. Your Rights and Choices

    Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict our use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@thelegacycloud.com from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

    California residents. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of "sales" or "sharing" (we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined), and the right to limit use of sensitive personal information. To exercise these rights, contact support@thelegacycloud.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

    Marketing opt-out. You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, and out of SMS by replying STOP.

    12. Children's Privacy

    The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact support@thelegacycloud.com and we will take steps to delete it. Senders are responsible for ensuring that any Recipient phone number they enter belongs to an individual age 13 or older (or such higher age as applicable local law requires).

    13. Third-Party Links and Services

    The Services may contain links to third-party sites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites or services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

    14. International Users

    The Services are operated from the United States and intended for users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those of your country.

    15. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at https://thelegacycloud.com/privacy and update the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice (such as by email or in-product notification).
